PLANNING

Do you have showrooms? - No, we operate online only to keep our overheads as low as possible and pass the savings on to you.

Can you design my kitchen for me? - Regrettably we 're not able to offer this service to our online customers. However we've put together an easy-to-follow guide with video tutorials which take you through every step of the process. You can download the guide FREE from the Planning Tips page on this site. You'll also be automatically subscribed to a 7-part e-course which explains how to organise the whole installation from beginning to end, in a clear, no-nonsense way.

Do your kitchens have solid wood doors and soft-closers? - The kitchens we feature on this site tend to appeal to first-time buyers, buy-to-let'rs and kitchen contractors who are looking for an attractive kitchen at a bargain price. What are the base and wall replacement end panels for? - The cabinets in this range of kitchens are all white in colour so if you're going to see the sides of any of your wall or base units it's possible to replace the side of the cabinet with one that matches the door colour. Replacement end panels are supplied in pairs (left and right).

Why are there no replacement wall or base unit end panels listed for the Lucerne kitchen? - This kitchen features white cabinets anyway so colour-matched replacement end panels aren't necessary.

ORDERING

How do I order from you? - Please see this page for instructions on how to order online, or call our sales line on 0131 208 0704 if you would prefer to order by phone.

Which forms of payment do you accept? - Credit or debit cards, BACS transfer or cheque.

Can I pay cash on delivery? - As we occasionally use third party delivery services we are unable to offer this option.

Are your kitchens supplied assembled or flat-packed? - All units are supplied flat packed. This helps reduce damage in transit, takes up less storage space in your home and reduces manufacturing cost. Clear, simple instructions are included - once you've built one, you'll manage the rest no problem!

What's included with each unit? - Everything basically: the cabinet, shelves, door, drawer (if applicable), handle and hinges.

DELIVERY

Can I collect my order? - Unfortunately, we're not set-up to receive members of the public at our premises - at least that way we do all the heavy lifting, instead of you :-)

How much does delivery cost? - The shopping cart will automatically calculate the delivery charge based on the items in your shopping cart, up to a maximum of £49.

Which areas do you deliver to? We deliver throughout mainland UK. Although we are unable to deliver to N. Ireland or the Scottish or Channel Islands we're more than happy to deliver to any UK port for customers to arrange their own onward transport.

How long do deliveries take from time of order? Most kitchens are dispatched within 5-7 working days (often quicker), although please allow up to 14 days. Once you've placed your order you will be contacted within 24 hours to arrange a convenient delivery date. We recommend waiting until your kitchen has been delivered before scheduling an installation date with your installers.

Can you give me a timeslot for my delivery? We are unable to offer timed deliveries, however if you would like to phone us after 8.30am on the day of delivery we should be able to give you an estimated time of arrival to within 2-3 hours.

Welcome to the Cut Price Kitchens website. We are online kitchen suppliers, delivering throughout mainland UK. If you're looking to buy cheap kitchen units and kitchen worktops we can provide a quick and easy solution for you. After talking with many of our customers, we learned about their frustrations and difficulties in using other online kitchen stores.

You will find that instead of having to separately load up your kitchen cabinets, then doors and even handles and hinges into the cart separately, you can achieve all this with just one click on our site. The price you see is the price you pay. The only 'extras' you will need for most fitted kitchens are; plinth to cover the legs on the base units and possibly matching end panels if the sides of the wall or base units are going to be seen. If you want that special finishing touch you can also add cornice / pelmet to adorn your wall units, but it's not essential.

The other main criticism we hear from new customers is the length of time that other kitchen suppliers quote for delivery - often between 4-6 weeks. And once they've waited that long, what if a part is missing or it's damaged - how long to get a replacement? On average, most of our kitchen sales are delivered within 5-7 days - sometimes sooner. But you may be asking "what if something goes wrong?". We know from customer feedback that this is one of the main concerns about buying a kitchen online. In the unlikely event you find an item is damaged or defective simply call us on 0131 208 0704 and our staff will aim to resolve your issue quickly and courteously.

We carry a large quantity of all the kitchens displayed on this site, so in most cases we will be able to dispatch a replacement to you from stock. If we don't have that particular item in stock at the time, then we have an excellent relationship with our manufacturer and in many cases we will arrange to have a replacement sent directly from them to you. Our business started back in 2006 as both a kitchen supplier and installation service, so we know what it's like when you've got tradesmen onsite and you need parts in a hurry. Knowing the kitchen industry as we do, we know you will find this compares very favourably with many of the big national suppliers, where you may be just one of thousands of customers their over-stretched staff have to deal with.
